其实，in the tree、on the tree这两个短语都是“在树上” 的意思，但却有本质的差别。
具体来说：
in the tree 指外来事物或人在树上（不是树本身所有物）

这个足球卡在树上了。
on the tree 指树木本身长出来的东西，如：叶子、果实
-Most of the apples on the tree have ripened.
